How To Buy Dawnmist Products

Most items on our website have an "Add to Basket" button so you can order them at the click of a mouse. The only exceptions are bulky items which are sold by weight (e.g. certain chemicals, pottery materials, bulk-form WineWax), because for these it is necessary for us to work out the available shipping options and costs on a per-order basis depending upon the total weight/size and the destination. For these products, please contact our Sales Desk with your requirements and we will email you a no-obligation quote for the total cost and detail the available delivery options for your order. You are also welcome to ask for a specific quotation for "Add to Basket" items if, for example, you require a large number of items, require some sort of customisation or special version, or wish to pay by an "offline" method (cheque, bank transfer, etc).

If you are local to Dawnmist Studio (Exeter, UK) then you may wish to collect your order from us rather than have us ship it. Alternatively, you may wish to arrange your own courier to make a collection from us on your behalf. You are welcome to make such a collection, but it must be arranged in advance with our sales desk, and cleared payment must be made before or at the point of collection.

We always acknowledge WWW orders by email within one working day -- if you don't hear from us within that time, please email us.

Please note that items will only be shipped upon receipt of payment unless prior arrangements for credit have been made.

You can order most of our products simply by clicking the relevant "Add to Basket" buttons and paying online with either a credit/debit card or a PayPal account.

You can choose to pay in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) (UK customers only), Euros (EUR, €) (customers in Europe only) or US Dollars (USD, $) (Worldwide).

You DON'T have to have a PayPal account to buy from us -- when you get to the Checkout, just click on "I don't have a PayPal account" and you'll be able to pay directly from your Credit/Debit card (existing PayPal members may also choose to pay straight from their PayPal account, of course). All card transactions are processed directly by PayPal Inc's fully secured servers and are covered by PayPal's comprehensive guarantee against fraud or mistakes, so you can buy from us with complete confidence. And unlike many other online businesses, we never add any surcharges for card payments, nor add any other 'hidden' charges.

Please email our sales desk with your requirements and we will be pleased to quote the cost and expected timescale of delivery to your location for whatever products you require. We can accept payment by Bank Transfer (UK or International), PayPal, Credit/Debit Card, or Cheque -- and we can, of course, provide a Pro-Forma Invoice (in PDF format) upon request. Prices will be quoted in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) unless you request us to quote in a different currency. Available methods of payment are as follows; when you are happy with your quotation, simply tell us which method you wish to use and we will make the necessary arrangements:

• Credit/Debit Card: For card payments, when you wish to order we will email you a unique WWW page identifier (URL) which takes you to a Personal Payment Page. This page includes a special, one-time-only "add to basket" button that is pre-set to match your order details. Visiting that page and clicking that button will take you to our secure card payments service, which is operated by PayPal Inc. Simply click to state that you do not have a PayPal account, and then you will be prompted for your card details, then a one-off payment will be taken without the need for you to sign up for an account with PayPal. This option gives you the convenience of a card payment without needing to sign up for any new account of any sort, combined with the guaranteed security of the payment being handled by PayPal Inc -- so you can buy online without any worries about security.

• PayPal: If you wish to pay via PayPal, you can either simply log on to your PayPal account and send the specified sum to sales@dawnmist.org, or, if you prefer, ask us to issue you with a Personal Payment Page as for a credit card transaction (see above) and you can simply choose to pay it from your PayPal account rather than from a credit card.
  
  
• Bank Transfer: If you wish to pay by this method, we will email you the bank details for payment (Sort Code and Account Number for UK customers; IBAN and BIC codes for non-UK customers).
  
  
• Cash: We can accept cash payments in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) only. Please do not send cash by normal mail as this is insecure; if you wish to send cash by mail please use Registered Post or an appropriate international equivalent.
  
  
• Cheque: As a final option, payment can be made by cheque and sent by post. Cheques must be in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) and drawn on a UK Bank (for non-UK customers, your bank should be able to draw up such a cheque for you). Please be aware that goods will not be despatched until cleared payment has been received and therefore any of the above four payment methods are preferable to a cheque if you require quick delivery. Cheques must be made payable to "Dawnmist Studio".
